Motorhome & Caravan Parking at Hemavan Gondola
At the base station of Hemavan Gondola, you’ll find a spacious parking area where motorhomes and caravans are welcome to stay overnight free of charge.
Adjacent to the parking area is a guest facility building, open during the summer season whenever the gondola operates. Here you’ll find guest toilets, indoor seating and a kitchenette with a microwave oven.
The gondola provides easy access to the mountains, taking you directly to Hemavan Viewpoint and the world-famous King’s Trail, which passes just steps from the top station. Approximately 400 metres below the summit station, you’ll find Björk Summit Restaurant & Mountain Bar, serving lunch made from locally sourced ingredients throughout the gondola season.
Overnight parking is free of charge and no advance booking is required.
Please note: Electricity and waste disposal facilities are not available at this parking area.
Hemavans Fjälllcenter
At Hemavan Fjällcenter (Mountain Centre), you’ll find dedicated pitches for motorhomes and caravans. Each pitch is 5 metres wide and includes access to a 16A CEE electrical hookup for your convenience.
The site features a modern service building with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with TV, and clean shower and toilet facilities. There is also a service station for chemical toilet disposal and fresh water refill facilities.
The pitches are located just a short walk from O’Learys Hemavan, making it easy to enjoy a meal or spend an evening in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
