Explore 40 km of prepared, floodlit tracks and an almost unlimited number of winter trails. The Kungsleden trail has its official starting point in Hemavan, just a few hundred metres from Hemavans Högfjällshotell. Hemavan’s 10 km track at Kobåset is a magnificent experience in an incredible landscape.
If you’re short of equipment, the ski rental shops have everything you need.
Voluntary track fee
You can help the above tracks to be prepared more often by paying a voluntary track fee. All the money goes into preparation of the cross-country tracks. There is more information on the signs by the tracks.
